Graham's Friends

J and I had the privilege of being at the hospital when our friends Momma L and Momma B brought their sweet boys into the world.

It was a beautiful experience and one we won't ever forget. PB&J are just gorgeous and perfect in every way. Momma L was a trooper and helped ease some anxiety over a c-section. She just handled things beautifully. Momma B was fantastic through it all and really helped J feel better about being in the OR and what she may or may not see/hear and smell in there. J doesn't do well in hospital/helpless situations and seeing how well our friends did helped boost her confidence. Plus J really wanted to cut the cord and in our c-section class we were told that it wasn't possible. But Momma B DID get to cut the cords (the Dr. left a long section and she got to cut it down to size) so we were able to ask our Dr. if J could do the same thing and he said yes!! Woo Hoo!

We just know that their boys and Baby G are going to be the best of friends and we can't wait till their boys meet our boy! I am sure there will be lots of playing together and getting into trouble in the years to come!

Going through this experience with them has made us even more excited and taken away some of the fear. Of course there is still a little bit, it is a surgery, but we know how great the outcome can and will be now.
