Fired...

from blogging!!! I am a terrible terrible blogger!!! I want to be better, so I will try to be better from now on. G's birth story is almost done so that will be up soon.

G is 3 months old now and SUCH a joy!!

• Approx 13 pounds 3 ounces
• we haven't measured him lately, but I think he has grown like 3 inches, our boy is so long!
• has the biggest smiles and gives them out all the time now, all you have to do is say "Hi!" and you get a big gummy smile.
• Laughs now, he is stingy with them, but we know the secret and if he is in the mood, it's the cutest sound ever!!
• Tells you ALL ABOUT IT! G loves to talk!
• Rolled over from tummy to back at 9.5 weeks and will still do it when he wants to. But not from back to tummy. He doesn't really like tummy time so I don't think he wants to roll to his tummy.
• When doing tummy time he does really well though, he holds his head up like a champ and props up on his elbows. He doesn't really play with toys in this position yet, just likes to look around esp if a book is in front of him.
• Still sleeps through the night most nights. His "normal" is he goes to bed between 8-9 and sleeps till 5-6. Sometimes he wakes up between 2 and 4 for a feeding and then goes back to sleep.
• He is very curious and loves to just people watch.
• He loves the heat so taking him outside is very soothing to him. He likes to look at the trees, put his toesies in the grass and will spend time just sitting & looking around outside. However, in the house, it's PLAY time with MOMMIES all the time!
• He fusses pretty good if you walk away from him and leave the room.
• He also loves to kick a little piano that we have and have the music play, he is pretty good at it.
• I had a major supply issue a couple weeks back that has resulted in me feeding him every 2 hours and taking Fenugreek. My supply is much better now and I am going to start getting him back to every 3 hours before I go back to work.
• His favorite toys have changed some, he LOVES this little Baby Einstein MP3 player and will watch the lights and listen to the music for a long time. He also loves anything he can grab and put in his mouth, particularly Sophie's nose.
• We think he has been in the beginning stages of teething for a few weeks now, he drools like crazy, chomps down hard on anything he can get his little mouth on, is fussier, in a painful sounding way. We have an amber teething necklace and that seems to take the edge off a little bit. We also occasionally give him the homeopathic Hylands teething tabs.  
• Loves to stand and sit, he is not liking laying down these days, he can't see what's going on! If you put him on his back he tries with all of his might to lift his head up, it's pretty cute.
• G got his first cold. Luckily it only lasted about 24 hours, but he was so miserable and it was so sad!
